At Jokers Import, we carry different sizes of Thread to meet all your needs. We have Nylon and Polyester thread available in size 69, 92, 138, and 207.
Our thread is made in the U.S. and has great resistance to mildew, aging and abrasion. It is stocked in Nylon and Polyester in different sizes in white, black, red and blue but can be special ordered in over forty colors. We stock sizes 69, 92, 138 and 207 to fit many industrial needs.

Effects on Thread
Nylon
- Effects of Heat: Sticks at 445° Fahrenheit. Melts at 485° to 500° Fahrenheit. Slightly yellows at 300° Fahrenheit if held for over 5 hours.
- Effects of Mildew: Aging, Sunlight and Abrasion: Excellent resistance to mildew, aging and abrasion. Some deterioration may be caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight.
- Effects of Acids and Alkalis: Not affected by most mineral acids with the exception of hot mineral acids. Dissolves with partial decomposition in concentrated solutions of hydrochloric, sulphuric, and nitric acids. Soluble in formic acids. Substantially inert in alkalis.
- Effects of Bleaches and Solvents: Can be bleached in most bleaching solutions. Overall insoluble in most organic solvents. Soluble in some phenolic compounds.
Polyester Thread
- Effects of Heat: Sticks at 440° to 445° Fahrenheit. Melts at 483° Fahrenheit.
- Effects of Mildew: Aging, Sunlight and Abrasion: Excellent resistance to aging and abrasion, not weakened by mildew. Prolonged exposure to sunlight causes some strength loss.
- Effects of Acids and Alkalis: Good resistance to most mineral acids. Dissolves with partial decomposition in concentrated solutions of sulphuric acids. Good resistance to weak alkalis. Moderate resistance to strong alkalis at room temperature. Disintegrate in strong alkalis at boil.
- Effects of Bleaches and Solvents: Can be bleached in most bleaches and other oxidizing agents. Generally insoluble expect in some phenolic compounds.
